Murcia and Local Activities
 Located at the South-East corner of the Iberian Peninsula, between the regions of Andalusia, Castile-La Mancha and Valencia, the region of Murcia occupies an area of 11,317 km2 (2.2% of the total surface area of Spain), bordering the province of Albacete in the North, the province of Alicante in the East, the provinces of Granada, Albacete and Almería in the West, and the Mediterranean in the South-East.
Murcia enjoys a yearly average of 2,800 hours of sunshine. The region of Murcia has an average annual temperature of 18ºC, with hot summers (registering absolute maximum temperatures of 40ºC) and mild winters (an average temperature of 11ºC in the winter months of December and January). In general rain is scarce throughout the region (approx. 300-350 mm/year), falling mainly in the spring (April) and autumn (October), leaving the summer an eminently dry season.

Apart from the bustling nightlife in Murcia City centre, numerous restaurants are accessible in the area surrounding El Valle
and at the newly built Town Centre.
The new clubhouse is open and serves snacks and drinks at the bar
and you can enjoy a 5* meal at the Barbeque Restaurant.
Six restaurants (at present) are open on the nearby La Torre Golf Resort and provide food ranging from Italian to Tapas and light snacks. A free shuttle bus is available to convey you.
Most are open to 23:00 and full details, including telephone numbers, are included in the Welcome Pack provided within the villa.
In addition, numerous Indian, Chinese, Italian, Spanish and Argentinian Steak (!!) restaurants are accessible within 20-30 minutes drive from El Valle.

Scuba Diving
Scuba diving can be arranged at La Manga with PADI diving courses
for all ages and abilities. Children's courses and snorkelling tours
available. Why not allow
yourself the once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the beautiful
warm seas of Europe's largest indoor sea - the Mar Menor.
Quad biking
Why not go for it and enjoy the ride of a lifetime aboard one of
these quad bikes during a structured session. Trails for all abilities
from novice to experienced.
Yachting
The ultimate thrill of hiring a 38 foot yacht is at your fingertips
with our package which sets sail from San Pedro Marina. Half day and
full day trips available.
Horse Riding
Horse riding is available for all levels of ability from novice to
experienced at Granjapark, La Union.
